ABC Match

Educationeasy

ABC Match is a colorful memory game designed to help young children learn the alphabet. Kids flip cards to find matching pairs of uppercase and lowercase letters — turning letter recognition into an exciting matching challenge. Each round features 6 randomly chosen letters, creating 12 cards to match. The game reinforces both uppercase and lowercase letter forms while exercising memory skills. With bright colors, big letters, and satisfying animations, ABC Match makes learning the alphabet feel like play. Every time you start a new game, different letters are chosen, so kids get practice with the full alphabet over multiple rounds. The simple tap-to-flip mechanic works perfectly for small hands on tablets and phones.

Controls: Click or tap cards to flip them and find matching letter pairs.

How to Play ABC Match

Tap any card to flip it over and reveal a letter. Then tap a second card. If the two letters match (for example, A and a), both cards stay face-up and glow green. If they don't match, both cards flip back after a moment.

Keep flipping cards and remembering where letters are until all 6 pairs are matched. Try to do it in as few moves as possible!

When all pairs are found, tap "Play Again" to start a fresh round with new letters.

ABC Match Tips & Strategies

  • Start by flipping cards in a pattern — row by row — so you can remember where each letter is.
  • Say the letter name out loud when you flip a card to reinforce learning.
  • If you find an uppercase letter, try to remember where you saw its lowercase match.
  • Take your time — there is no timer, so focus on remembering letter positions.
  • Play multiple rounds to practice with all 26 letters of the alphabet.
